This warranty is extended on
to you the Auto Care Customer and not to
someone who may purchase your automobile
from you during the term of the warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal
rights, and you may also have other
rights which vary from state to state.
Who
Makes This Warranty
This warranty is made by the
Independent Shell dealer.
("Dealer") listed on this web
site and on your Repair Order. This is
not a warranty by Shell Oil Company, its
employees, or agents, nor is it a
warranty of any other Independent Shell
dealers.
What
is Warranted And For How Long
The Dealer warrants that
repairs and services performed at this
station will be free from defects in
materials or workmanship for 90 days or
4,000 miles, whichever comes first. If
the repaired vehicle is subjected only to
normal use and service. If you experience
a problem with the repaired vehicle as
the result of a defect in either
workmanship or material during this
period, the Dealer will:
1) Perform the work again at
no cost, or at the Dealer's option if
repair is not commercially practicable or
cannot be timely made.
2) Refund the original cost of the
repairs.

What
is Not Covered By This Warranty
This warranty will not apply
to your repaired vehicle if it has been
damaged by abnormal use, misuse, neglect,
accident, alteration, or "tampering
with" (by other than this Dealer).
The Dealer's employees and/or agents do
not have authority to make any promises
in addition to those contained in this
warranty. The warranty does not include
incidental or consequential damages
(additions) expenses which you may incur
as the result of a faulty repair or
service. Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above
limitation or exclusion may not apply to
you.
Your
Obligations As A Purchaser
You must keep a copy of your
Repair Order and present it to the Dealer
when seeking service under this warranty.
You must pay for any repair work or parts
for non-warranty service performed at the
same time that warranty service is
performed.
How
To Obtain Warranty Service
To obtain warranty service
you must return your car to the Dealer
named on this web site and the Dealer
named on the front of your Repair Order
at the listed address and present your
copy of this Repair Order to him.

Written
Estimates
No work will be done without
your approval. You will get a written
estimate on all repair work. Should
additional work be necessary, or the cost
exceed the estimate, we'll get your
permission before proceeding. Your
signature on the estimate is required to
show that you did receive it.
Return
of Replacement Parts
All replaced parts will be
made available to you except those parts
which are returned to a parts supplier
who is willing to accept them as a credit
on new parts. Any and all such credits
will be passed on to you.

If
you don't want your old parts returned to
a supplier for credit, you must make a
note of this on the repair order. By
making this notation, you will waive any
subsequent rights to return the parts for
credit. Fair
Treatment
Any problem which arises
regarding warranted work that cannot be
resolved to your satisfaction, may be
arbitrated if you desire. Should this
occur, we have a procedure available
through a local agency whereby a neutral
third party will arbitrate the dispute
and we'll abide by their decision.
