ALL REPAIRS GUARANTEED
90 DAYS OR 4,000 MILES
(whichever First Occurs)

This warranty is extended on to you the Auto Care Customer and not to someone who may purchase your automobile from you during the term of the warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Who Makes This Warranty

This warranty is made by the Independent Shell dealer. ("Dealer") listed on this web site and on your Repair Order. This is not a warranty by Shell Oil Company, its employees, or agents, nor is it a warranty of any other Independent Shell dealers.

What is Warranted And For How Long

The Dealer warrants that repairs and services performed at this station will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for 90 days or 4,000 miles, whichever comes first. If the repaired vehicle is subjected only to normal use and service. If you experience a problem with the repaired vehicle as the result of a defect in either workmanship or material during this period, the Dealer will:

1) Perform the work again at no cost, or at the Dealer's option if repair is not commercially practicable or cannot be timely made.
2) Refund the original cost of the repairs.

What is Not Covered By This Warranty

This warranty will not apply to your repaired vehicle if it has been damaged by abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, or "tampering with" (by other than this Dealer). The Dealer's employees and/or agents do not have authority to make any promises in addition to those contained in this warranty. The warranty does not include incidental or consequential damages (additions) expenses which you may incur as the result of a faulty repair or service. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

Your Obligations As A Purchaser

You must keep a copy of your Repair Order and present it to the Dealer when seeking service under this warranty. You must pay for any repair work or parts for non-warranty service performed at the same time that warranty service is performed.

How To Obtain Warranty Service

To obtain warranty service you must return your car to the Dealer named on this web site and the Dealer named on the front of your Repair Order at the listed address and present your copy of this Repair Order to him.

Additional Auto Care Features not included in the Above Warranty

Written Estimates

No work will be done without your approval. You will get a written estimate on all repair work. Should additional work be necessary, or the cost exceed the estimate, we'll get your permission before proceeding. Your signature on the estimate is required to show that you did receive it.

Return of Replacement Parts

All replaced parts will be made available to you except those parts which are returned to a parts supplier who is willing to accept them as a credit on new parts. Any and all such credits will be passed on to you.

If you don't want your old parts returned to a supplier for credit, you must make a note of this on the repair order. By making this notation, you will waive any subsequent rights to return the parts for credit.

Fair Treatment

Any problem which arises regarding warranted work that cannot be resolved to your satisfaction, may be arbitrated if you desire. Should this occur, we have a procedure available through a local agency whereby a neutral third party will arbitrate the dispute and we'll abide by their decision.
